CREA is participating in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon to raise funds and awareness for women’s rights to political participation, for adolescent girls to make informed decisions about their body, health and lives; for the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women with disabilities; and to decriminalise same sex relationship between consenting adults.

CREA is organising a 'State-level Consultation: Strengthening Implementation of Laws on Domestic Violence and Child Marriage' on 6-7 June 2014, in collaboration with National Mission for Empowerment of Women (NMEW) and Women Power Connect (WPC).

Six of our 15 It's My Body programme partner organisations, located across Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh, organised district-level events to celebrate International Women's Day in their communities. Although the content of the events varied, they all had a common objective-to reach out to the larger community, especially women and girls, and provide them with an opportunity to celebrate their being, whether through the medium of sports, or through use of performance art such as poetry, song, and dance.

CREA organised 'Inspiring to Aspire: Encouraging Young Women to Seize Leadership Opportunities—An Open Forum' in collaboration with Women's Empowerment Link (WEL). It was attended by over 100 people from various organisations in Kenya, working on issues related to human rights, women's rights, and gender.

CREA organised a panel discussion on sexuality, gender, and rights in the context of the 11 December 2013 Supreme Court judgement upholding Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code. The speakers for the event were Ruth Vanita (University of Montana), Carole Vance (Columbia University), Shohini Ghosh (Jamia Millia Islamia), Arvind Narrain (Alternative Law Forum), and Geetanjali Misra (CREA). The event was attended by over 70 people.
